2021 summer golf classic

The South Side Chamber of Commerce and the South Side Bar and Restaurant Association (SSBARA) partnered again this year to co-host the annual South Side Summer Golf Classic on Monday, August 2, 2021 at South Hills Country Club in Pittsburgh.

Many thanks to our sponsors! UPMC Mercy was the presenting sponsor. Allegheny Millwork & Lumber was the dinner sponsor. Sota Construction Services Inc. was the lunch sponsor. Chip Berger was the drink tickets sponsor. Dollar Bank was the golf balls and bags sponsor. Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale Company was the tournament champion sponsor, and Pusz & Siegel Eyecare Associates was the golf cart sponsor. Numerous other businesses were golf contest and tee green sponsors.

Jimmy D’s nightclub on East Carson Street is the first-place golf foursome of the tournament with Jimmy DeMauro, Mike Sampson, Bob Sampson, and Jimmy Church. Sota Construction Services Inc. is the second-place golf foursome of the tournament with Gregg Rollage, Bret Miller, Mason Bohem, and Tom Frank.

A new 2021 first-place team plaque will be made, placed on the perpetual trophy, and presented to Jimmy D’s to possess with bragging rights for a year. The South Side Summer Golf Classic will return to the South Hills Country Club on Monday, August 1, 2022.
