This holiday serves as a reminder that freedom and equality are fundamental rights that should be extended to ALL PEOPLE. We celebrate our progress toward true racial equity and justice and reflect on the work still ahead.

Pittsburgh was built on diversity and resilience and we must embrace the spirit of Juneteenth to create a brighter and more inclusive future for all. A future where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, and has access to opportunities that allow them to thrive.
